I am the Idol Slut

Just got word that i might be editing yet another Oz Idol music clip soon....after my efforts on Levi and Guy this past year...

This time it's for Paulini, the beautiful Fijian-Australian singer who copped the infamous "You should lose some pounds or wear more appropriate outfits" remark from Dicko. I hope she comes into my edit suite at some point, as she was a fave of mine from series 1.

When Guy was going to come in, the young girlies at work all got dressed up to impress.....unfortunately, he didn't make an appearance, as he had um "touring duties", in Newcastle!!!!

I think she's a good singer & pretty as she is. I wanted her to win. Though granted, that dress was a bad idea - a little less bling, more bang! She sang at the Oz swimming dinner for us at my old work, & was great. So did Thirsty Merc, so who knows... Is the song good or crap?!
I read a lil thing on a net Bboard the other day of a bunch teens berating each other. It was so funny, half of them saying Guy is crap & untalented, then saying he's not half as talented and musical as Delta. Then the others saying, yes, Delta is tops, but Guy will rule the world. I think I really missed something...

PS In 4years I only ever saw my whole office freaked out by a visit once. Occasionally we had some pretty big people come in, and everyone would be totally blase. But the whole place, old & young, was a nervous teen-minded wreck when Ben & Sara-Marie came in!! I've still got that pic somewhere tee hee.

Ben and Sara-Marie? I can't say i would be "starstruck" by them, especially boring Ben.

Personally, I don't like meeting actors/people who have acted or performed in projects I have edited. It feels wierd to meet them, knowing I have deliberated over their performances, pulled my hair out over their bad acting and disregard for continuity. I much prefer to have them merely be there on the screen, aloof and mysterious rather than right in my face. It's like I know too much about them, after staring at their face and body for days!!!
