Couple-a-things

it's been a while since i posted, oh the shame, so i'll try and be more diligent with this thing. the biggest reason why i've been a slackarse is because i've been busy with work AGAIN. had one of those months where it seemed to consume my life again and not much socialising or catching up with friends.....grrrrrr....

anyway, i was working on some decent stuff, with directors i really like (as opposed to the ones i can't stand) and are becoming regular clients (including a feature film director) so it's all good. i got to work on some really cool stuff.....ads with animated characters in them....another with a celebrity.....some more Maccas UK stuff....and i've got a really cool ad coming up soon which will just look amazing i think (lots of cool visual effects).....and another short film i'm just about to begin which has lots of drag queen musical numbers in them. very camp and very funny. that will take up some time, but i am hoping to be able to work on that on my lappy (laptop) at home.

well, the most exciting thing is that I am an Unky A again!!! snaps for my sister and her partner! haha....she had another beautiful little girl last week......so now i have 2 gorgeous nieces to love and spoil :) the new baby seems quite SERENE compared to the first one, who was and is as the Japanese politely refer to as "genki" i.e. enthusiastic...... the new baby sleeps well and even her cry is less raucous. i think the 2 little girls will turn out like chalk and cheese...

other big news: my work is moving! my boss has decided to make a change and move closer into the city.......Surry Hills/East Syd/Darlo area....which is cool i think......so i'm looking forward to that happening in the next couple of months. i'm gonna miss working where we are right now, as i like this area too but i won't miss the deros and truant kids who run amuck in these parts. no doubt there'll be new deros and truant kids loitering around our new workplace...

just one gig coming up, that's Belle and Sebastian in June, and i'd like to see Jose Gonzalez, but no-one wants to come with me so far! :( not happy jan...maybe i'll just go by myself and look like a nigel no-friend.
